Alex Blagojevic was born March 27th, 1972. His parents were born in the former Yugoslavia but decided to immigrate to France to escape communism. After being born and raised in Paris, at the age of 20, Alex came to the United States as a foreign exchange student thanks to an American Christian missionary to France when he was an atheist. In 2003, through a series of dramatic events, he gave his life to Jesus.
Alex holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Florida State University and a master’s degree in theology from Biola University. For over 22 years, Alex has been working at Morgan Stanley in Fort Myers, where he is a Senior Vice President, Portfolio Managing Director, Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Financial Consultant, and Financial Advisor.
Alex is the vice-president of Faith Thinkers. In addition to being active in local charitable events and his church, Alex is a fervent Christian evangelist and apologist. He teaches regularly on theology, finance/investing, and politics at churches, conferences, and universities (Florida Gulf Coast University, Florida Southwestern College, and Palm Beach Atlantic University). He has debated Karim al-Hanafi and several other Muslims in public debates in the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
Alex is also the regional director for Florida of Ratio Christi, a Christian organization on college campuses across the country, challenging students on college campuses to think critically about Christianity and other religions. His book, “25 Reasons I Believe in the Bible” was released in 2020.
Alex speaks fluent English, French, and Serbian. As an avid tennis player, Alex has a 4.5 USTA level. and on the Board of Directors for the Gulf Shore Opera. Alex lives in Fort Myers with his son Elias, and his wife, Elizabeth Lilly who is a professional harpist.
When I became a believer
First time I came to God is when First time I became a believer is when I went home to commit suicide. Then, through apologetics and I was finally “All In,” in May 2005; and I thank my Savior every day for saving me and sending me souls to reach out to.
