Hello,<<First Name>> .We hope and pray you and your family are well and continue protecting yourselves. We are canceling our GAP meetings until further notice, with a review of circumstances. How to Stay Calm During the Chinese-virus (AKA, Corona virus) Crisis
Does God Know Our Situation? YES! The Significance Of The Number “40”.
GAP Facilitator and Teacher, John Hashek, reminds us that the Latin root of the word “quarantine” is “forty”. So what does the Bible say about 40?
▪︎The flood lasted 40 days.
▪︎40 years Moses fled Egypt.
▪︎40 days Moses stayed on Mount Sinai to receive the Commandments.
▪︎Exodus lasted 40 years.
▪︎Jesus fasted for 40 days.
▪︎Lent is 40 days.
▪︎40 weeks is how long a baby forms in its mother’s womb before birth.
The number 40 represents “change.” It is the time of preparing a person, or people, to make a fundamental change.Something will happen after these 40 days. Just believe and pray. Remember, whenever the number 40 appears in the Bible, there is a “change”.
Please know that during this “quarantine” rivers are cleaning up, vegetation is growing, the air is becoming cleaner, there is less theft and murder, healing is happening, and most importantly, people are turning to Christ. The Earth is at rest for the first time in many years and hearts are truly transforming.
So, during this time, enjoy it with your loved ones and return to the family altar together. Family prayer is a great blessing. Through prayer you will see the changes God can work in you and in your home. Christ promises us that everything works together for the good for those who love God: Romans 8:28!
▪︎Remember we are in the year 2020, and 20 + 20 = 40.
▪︎Also, 2020 is the year of the United States Census. Jesus Christ, the savior of the world, was born during a census.
▪︎Lastly, 2020 is perfect vision. May our sight focus on the Lord and living according to His perfect vision for us knowing He holds us in the palm of His hand.
May these days of “quarantine” bring spiritual liberation to our souls, our nation, and our world..The best is yet to come, so Trust in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit!
Today’s Prayer
Father, I praise you. Because of the intercession of the Holy Spirit in this very moment, I know that you hear more than what my words say. You know what’s on my heart. You know my doubts, my insecurities, my secret sins, and my frustrating struggles. And, dear Father, you know my deep desire to have these things redeemed and transformed by your grace so that I live for your glory. I thank you for your grace..Also, Lord, don’t let me be distracted by, or addicted to, food or drink. I want to be sustained and fed spiritually and emotionally by the presence of your Holy Spirit within me. I specifically pray that your goodness, peace, and joy will become more and more apparent in my life as I seek to honor Christ and yield myself to the influence of your Spirit. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen

Jesus, who was the Master Teacher, constantly used the teaching method most suitable for His audience, and a quick search through the scriptures shows that Jesus used a variety of many teaching methods. Included in the different tools Christ used were the scriptures, parables, inspired questions, discussion, logic, object lessons, analogies, preaching, silence, repetition, prophecy, experience, observation and testimony.
Each week, for one hour, participating men will be pared with a handpicked Godly leader with whom they are familiar with, that is well versed in a particular Biblical topic or men’s issue. Your leader will cover today’s tough issues that we face. In confidence together; we will discuss these issues head-on and you willfind honest and frank discussions with, biblical, practical solutions (and pull no punches).
We cannot live a holy life apart from the help of the Holy Spirit for, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
You will be encouraged to find another man (just like you) who knows The Holy Spirit inspired the Word of God and only Christians who are filled with the Spirit can understand the true meaning of God’s Word.

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”(Romans 12:2)
At our advanced Bible Study, we ask that you use the Holy Spirit for discernment. The Spirit operates through scripture. Through biblical discernment, you can discover wisdom and direction. Without it, you’ll fail to distinguish God’s purposes and word from your purposes and words. Then again whenever we preach, we need to see what Jesus has to say on any topic. After all, the preacher’s opinion is irrelevant. What really counts is, “what does God say?” In that light, keep reading your Bible!
As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him. (1 John 2:27)
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you. (John 14:26)
Jesus told his followers, “By this all everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another” (John 13:35).
Paul reminds us that we believe in a “God of hope” who can “fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13)

Come Now, Let Us Reason Together!
To imitate Christ, it is essential to ask God for help, through His Spirit, so we can humbly obey God and bring our thoughts, attitudes and actions in line with His. We must allow His Spirit to become the guiding force in our lives to produce the qualities of true Christianity. To be “All In”, we constantly have to ask ourselves whether we are really being led by God’s Spirit or are resisting it.
